W3
W3 — Acton, East Acton and North Acton
Acton is spread across four compass points and a good deal of light industry, and the vehicle mix shows it. There are more vans here than in most of the districts we work in, and a van on a flat is a working day stopped rather than an errand delayed. North Acton and East Acton bring trade units and depot yards; Acton Vale, South Acton and West Acton are residential; and Acton Central and Acton Town sit in the middle with the station parking that produces a call at the end of the afternoon rather than the start of it.

Getting to you
In the industrial roads there is usually room to work properly, which is a relief after the terraced streets either side of them. Around Acton Town and Acton Central the parking is controlled and the side roads are narrow. If you are in a yard or a unit, give us the unit number — the estate roads are not always signed the way the map thinks they are.
