W2
W2 — Paddington, Bayswater and Lancaster Gate
Paddington Station never stops, and neither does the traffic feeding it. Taxis, hotel transfers and hire cars circulate around Paddington Basin and Lancaster Gate all day and half the night, and a great deal of what we replace in W2 comes off vehicles that work for a living and cannot afford to sit still. Bayswater, Queensway, Westbourne Grove, Westbourne Park and Royal Oak behind the station are hotel and mansion-block streets where the parking pressure is relentless and a kerb strike is nearly always the cause.

Getting to you
Edgware Road and the roads around the station have restrictions that make roadside work impossible at certain hours, and the station approaches themselves are enforced tightly. If you are at St Mary's Hospital Paddington, the car park level helps. Around Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, the perimeter roads are red routes with no standing at all.
