W1
W1 — Mayfair, Soho, Marylebone and Fitzrovia
In the West End the tyre is rarely the difficult part. Oxford Street, Regent Street and Bond Street have restrictions that rule out working at the kerb for most of the day, Soho and Chinatown are a network of streets a van barely fits down, and a great deal of what happens in W1 happens in an underground car park with a height barrier at the entrance. Mayfair, Marylebone and Fitzrovia add mews addresses and resident bays, and Harley Street brings a steady population of cars parked for a full clinical day.

Getting to you
The first thing we need is whether the car is on the street or below it, and if below, which car park and what the height limit is. Everything in W1 is inside the congestion charge zone. Around Piccadilly, Berkeley Square, Grosvenor Square and Tottenham Court Road we plan a legal stop before setting off, because there is no improvising one on arrival.

Tell us the vehicle, the tyre size if you can see it, and exactly where the car is standing. We will say what we can do before anyone sets off.
