W6
W6 — Hammersmith, Brook Green and Ravenscourt Park
The Hammersmith Flyover carries a great deal of fast traffic over a district that cannot absorb it when something goes wrong underneath. A tyre that fails on the flyover leaves nowhere to stop and no safe way to stand, and the honest answer is nearly always to get the car down and off it first. Below, Hammersmith Broadway is a gyratory with buses on every arm, while Brook Green and Ravenscourt Park behind it are quiet terraced streets where the same tyre would be replaced on a Tuesday morning without any drama at all.

Getting to you
Direction of travel matters here more than an address does — the flyover and the Broadway are one-way in practice, and being on the wrong side of either adds a full loop. Charing Cross Hospital runs long-stay car parks with height limits, so the level helps. On event nights at the Eventim Apollo, the streets nearest the venue fill quickly and stay full.
