The residential grid around Hounslow West is tight and heavily parked in the evenings, so the nearest junction is more useful to us than the house number when we are looking for a working length of kerb. On the Hounslow Heath side there is more room, but less light — if you are waiting after dark, wait in the car rather than beside it.
