SW19
SW19 — Wimbledon, Colliers Wood and Merton Park
For a fortnight each summer the streets around the All England Lawn Tennis Club fill with cars parked by people who do not live there, and the calls we take that week are almost all kerb damage and blocked-in vehicles. The rest of the year SW19 is a working district: the Centre Court Shopping Centre car park, the commuter run through South Wimbledon and Haydons Road, and the older housing at Merton Park and Wimbledon Park where tyres are replaced because they have simply run out of tread.

Getting to you
Wimbledon Common has road edges that soften after rain, and a wheel that drops off one is usually a recovery job before it is a tyre job. In the town centre the multi-storey height barriers decide where we can work, so the level and bay help. Around Merton Abbey Mills and Colliers Wood the one-way system is longer to get out of than to get into.

Tell us the vehicle, the tyre size if you can see it, and exactly where the car is standing. We will say what we can do before anyone sets off.
