Citywide Mobile Tyres — Richmond tyre fitting and vehicle recovery

SW18

SW18 — Wandsworth, Earlsfield and Southfields

Wandsworth is built around a one-way system and a shopping centre, and both work against a car that has stopped where it should not. Southside Wandsworth and Ram Quarter draw traffic in continuously, the gyratory offers very few places to pull over, and a tyre that fails on it will usually need moving before it can be replaced. Earlsfield and Southfields either side are ordinary terraced streets — parked solid, permit-controlled, and full of cars that pick up nails from the works that never quite finish.

Getting to you

On the gyratory, get off it if the car is still driveable at walking pace; if it is not, we would rather recover it than fit a tyre in live traffic. Southside Wandsworth has height barriers on the car park decks. Around Wandsworth Common the roads are wide but the trees drop grit into the gutter line, which is where most of the nails end up.
