SW14
SW14 — East Sheen and Mortlake
Two names, one long road, and a level crossing that governs the day. Mortlake stops moving every few minutes when the barriers come down, which is how a car with a flat ends up abandoned in a queue rather than at a kerb, and East Sheen behind it is dense residential parking where every space is spoken for by six in the evening. We fit here more often at the kerb than on a driveway, and the awkward part is rarely the tyre.

Getting to you
Tell us which side of the crossing you are on. It sounds trivial and it is not: a job fifty yards apart can mean a completely different approach when the barriers are down. In East Sheen the residents' bays run tight to the junctions, so the nearest side street usually gives us the working space that the address itself does not.

Tell us the vehicle, the tyre size if you can see it, and exactly where the car is standing. We will say what we can do before anyone sets off.
