SW13
SW13 — Barnes, Castelnau and Barnes Bridge
Barnes keeps a village layout inside a London borough, and the layout is the problem. Castelnau is a long, straight approach with parking hard against both kerbs, the streets off it are short and often one-way, and the pond end has bays that were laid out for smaller cars than the ones now in them. Most of what we replace here is kerb damage rather than puncture damage — a rim scuffed in a three-point turn, a sidewall pinched on a raised kerb, a tyre that has been driven a mile too far on low pressure.

Getting to you
Barnes Bridge and the crossings either side of the district decide how long an approach takes far more than the distance does; when the river crossings back up, everything here slows with them. The lanes near the London Wetland Centre are narrow and unlit at the edges, so if you have stopped there in the evening, stay in the car and give us the nearest gate.
