Citywide Mobile Tyres — Richmond tyre fitting and vehicle recovery

WC1

WC1 — Bloomsbury, Holborn and Russell Square

Bloomsbury runs on squares, and squares are where the wheels get hurt. The bays around Russell Square and the streets between the British Museum and UCL are angled, shallow and hemmed in by high kerbs, and a driver reversing into one while a coach waits behind tends to find the kerb before the space. Great Ormond Street Hospital and Gray's Inn add long-stay parking of a very different kind — cars left for days, whose owners are not thinking about tyres at all.

Getting to you

All of WC1 is inside the congestion charge zone, and metered or permit parking covers essentially every kerb. Around Holborn and the Brunswick Centre the loading restrictions run through the working day. Underground car parks here are older and lower than most, so the height limit is worth checking before we set off rather than after we arrive.

Tell us the vehicle, the tyre size if you can see it, and exactly where the car is standing. We will say what we can do before anyone sets off.
