Citywide Mobile Tyres — Richmond tyre fitting and vehicle recovery

SW3

SW3 — Chelsea, King's Road and Brompton

Chelsea has narrow streets and wide cars, and that mismatch produces most of the work. The bays along and behind the King's Road were marked out for a different generation of vehicle, and a low-profile tyre on a twenty-inch rim does not forgive a kerb the way an older tyre would — one scuff and the sidewall is done. Around Duke of York Square, the Saatchi Gallery and the Royal Marsden Hospital the parking pressure is constant, and a car with a flat cannot simply be left where it is.

Getting to you

SW3 sits inside the congestion charge zone and the parking is metered or permit-only nearly throughout, so we plan a legal stop before we set off rather than circle looking for one. The side streets off the King's Road are narrow enough that a working van blocks them outright, and near the Chelsea Physic Garden the loading restrictions run through most of the day.
